After relocating to Somerset in 2024, Wendy and Jerry quickly fell in love with the unspoilt landscape of the Blackdown Hills. In early 2025, they set about creating a luxury Shepherd’s Hut within the grounds of their four-acre home — a peaceful retreat designed to blend comfort, style, and nature. Their vision was simple: to provide a beautifully furnished space where guests can enjoy a truly comfortable stay in a quiet rural setting. With quality, comfort, and attention to detail at the heart of everything they do, Wendy and Jerry take pride in offering a memorable countryside escape. The consistent 5* Reviews received from guests confirm the belief that their vision is being fulfilled.
Further information
Your host Wendy, likes to say hello in person upon your arrival. We are available to address any problems or issues during the stay but generally prefers to leave guests to their own devices.
Please note the hut is located in a rural environment. On occasion, guests may encounter wildlife, livestock, and animal noises. If there are livestock in the adjoining paddock, please do not feed or interact with the animals as this may cause harm or danger.
